IGLUNA

IGLUNA

IGLUNA is an international student project to build a space habitat demonstrator for sustaining life in an extreme environment. It is a test bed to demonstrate space technologies in extreme environment. Supervised by experts from ESA, industry and academia, student teams collaborate to develop Moon exploration modules and test them in an extreme environment in Switzerland.

The project not only does it demonstrate technologies of the future, but also a new way of collaboration across universities, industry and the space community – while forming students in applied project work. It is coordinated and organized by the Swiss Space Center and builds upon the IGLUNA2019 project under the ESA_Lab initiative.
